A New Standard from Nakamura-Tome
The next-generation two-spindle, two-turret precision CNC multitasking lathe featuring the latest high-speed machining technologies. To meet a wide range of machining requirements, the WT-150V is available in three configurations: 1. Turning model without milling capability 2. Milling model 3. Milling model with an upper-turret Y-axis In addition, the optional NC tailstock enables machining of long workpieces and parts requiring tailstock support. Combined with simultaneous machining by the upper and lower turrets, the machine delivers highly efficient production across a wide variety of workpieces.
Standard with ChronoCut (Full Version)
The WT-150V comes standard with ChronoCut (Full Version), Nakamura-Tome’s proprietary idle-time reduction technology. By optimizing non-cutting operations such as tool changes and axis positioning, ChronoCut significantly reduces cycle times and helps maximize overall machining productivity.
Uncompromising pursuit of speed
Both the upper and lower turrets are equipped with milling capabilities as standard. The milling spindle delivers speeds of up to 6,000 min⁻¹ in the standard specification and up to 10,000 min⁻¹ as an option. In addition to enhancing milling performance through higher spindle speeds, the machine also expands the application range of small-diameter cutting tools, enabling more efficient and versatile machining operations.
Equipped with FANUC αi-D series SERVO
The WT-150V is equipped with the latest FANUC αi-D series SERVO. With increased torque and higher operating speeds, these servos enhance machine responsiveness while improving positioning accuracy and contouring precision. In addition, they offer excellent energy-saving performance, reducing overall servo system losses by approximately 10% compared with previous models. By combining high speed, high accuracy, and energy efficiency, the WT-150V delivers superior machining performance while helping reduce operating costs.
